Monica Ghule
Monica Ghule is a Mumbai-based contemporary artist whose vibrant practice spans painting, printmaking, and graphic art. With an M.F.A., G.D. Art, and a Diploma in Art Education, she brings academic rigor and creative sensitivity to her works. Over the past decade, Monica has built an impressive portfolio through numerous solo exhibitions, including at India Art Festival (Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi), Jehangir Art Gallery, and Vesvar Art Gallery, Pune.
Her work explores a balance of abstraction and symbolism, often reflecting emotional and spiritual undercurrents. She has participated in major group exhibitions across India and internationally, including at Cymroza Art Gallery, Art Houz (Bangalore and Chennai), Art 2Day, and the Artdom Project in Oslo, Norway.
Monica has received several accolades for her graphic works, including the 2023 Bendre-Hussain Scholarship from the Bombay Art Society, and awards from the South Central Zone Cultural Centre, Nashik Kala Niketan, and Thane School of Art. Her artworks have been exhibited in prestigious platforms such as the Bombay Art Society Annual Shows and the Maharashtra State Art Exhibitions.
Her paintings are part of private collections in India and abroad, and she continues to contribute meaningfully to the contemporary Indian art landscape through both practice and participation.
