Sanjay Tikkal

Sanjay Tikkal (b. 1981, Maharashtra) is a contemporary Indian artist known for his expressive and symbolic visual language rooted in drawing and painting. A graduate of Abhinav Kala Mahavidyalaya, Pune, he completed his education with distinction, ranking 6th in Maharashtra. Over the years, Tikkal has garnered numerous accolades, including the Gold Medal and Best Entry Award from the Bombay Art Society (2010), and multiple recognitions from the Art Society of India, Chitari Academy, and Prafulla Dahanukar Art Foundation.

His work has been widely exhibited, with solo shows at prestigious venues like Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai; India Habitat Centre, Delhi; and Apparao Galleries, New Delhi. He has participated in group exhibitions across India, including the Pune Biennale, Lalit Kala Akademi, and Goa Art Festival.
