Reghunadhan K

Reghunadhan K Born in 1958, acclaimed sculptor Reghunadhan K. completed his BFA in Sculpture from the College of Fine Arts, Trivandrum in 1982, and earned his MFA from M. S. University, Baroda, Gujarat in 1988. A founding member of the Indian Radical Painters and Sculptors Association, he served as the Head of the Sculpture Department at the Madhavan Nair Foundation for Art in Edappally in 1991.

His major public sculpture projects include works at the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary in Thekkady, the 'Sculpture Veli' (Fence) created at Parappanangadi Beach in 1996, and a public granite sculpture sponsored jointly by the Kerala Lalithakala Akademi and DTPC Palakkad in February 2012. He has participated in several prestigious exhibitions and events, including the KHOJ International Camp in Mumbai (June 2005), the 'Double Enders' show curated by Bose Krishnamachari across Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, and Kochi (2006), the 'Santhal Family' exhibition curated by Grant Watson at MuHKA in Antwerp, Belgium (April 2008), the India Art Summit in Delhi (2011), the inaugural Kochi- Muziris Biennale (2012), and the 'Lokame Tharavadu' exhibition (2021).

Honored with the Kerala Lalithakala Akademi Fellowship in 2020, he currently lives and continues his artistic practice at his studio, Nanjinattu Farm House, located in Eramalloor, Cherthala, Alappuzha.
