Sculpting with Light & Darkness by Ina Puri at Kalakriti Art Gallery, Hyderabad

There are few things as evocative as a room full of sculptures, and Kalakriti Art Gallery’s ongoing showcase promises to be an eye-opening experience. The exhibition brings together three notable contemporary artists—LN Tallur, Sumakshi Singh and KS Radhakrishnan—each of whom works with a distinct array of materials and forms that consider similar themes of light and shadow, collective memory and the relationship between tradition and the contemporary psyche. Whether it’s Singh’s delicate columns crafted in thread, Tallur’s mixed-material assemblages or Radhakrishnan’s figurative bronzes, each work is more than a sum of its parts, and carries a narrative that is deeply rooted in our collective history, while speculating on the nature of the present and the futures that are being crafted.

On view at Kalakriti Art Gallery, Road No. 4, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad until 5th January 2026
