Indrapramit Roy, a talented artist, pursued printmaking at Visva-Bharati University and painting at M.S. University of Baroda in India. He furthered his studies with an Inlaks Scholarship for MA Painting at the Royal College of Art in London and a term at Cite des Arts, Paris. He also participated in an Erasmus Exchange Scholarship program in Berlin. Among his 16 solo exhibitions, notable ones were held at Aicon Gallery in the USA, Anant Art Gallery in New Delhi, Pundole Art Gallery in Mumbai, and Galerie-88 in Kolkata. His latest solo show, ‘Mezzaterra,’ was showcased at Threshold Gallery in New Delhi in March 2016. Indrapramit has been teaching painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts, MSU Baroda, since 1995.
