Amjum Rizve
Amjum Rizve (b. 1992, Kerala, India) is a contemporary artist currently based in Mysuru, Karnataka. He completed his BFA in Painting from the College of Fine Arts, Thiruvananthapuram, and his MFA from the Chamarajendra Academy of Visual Arts (CAVA), Mysuru. Rizve has developed a distinctive visual language that bridges fine art, craft, and design, drawing inspiration from diverse cultural and artistic traditions.
He has participated in numerous exhibitions across India, including the Kochi-Muziris Biennale collateral projects, *Lokame Tharavadu*, and exhibitions at Bikaner House, New Delhi, Gallery Dotwalk, and the State Gallery of Art, Hyderabad. His work has also been featured in leading contemporary art platforms and galleries nationwide.
Recipient of the HRD Ministry of Culture Young Artist Scholarship (2017) and the Kerala Diamond Jubilee Fellowship (2019–20), Rizve continues to build a significant presence within the contemporary Indian art landscape through his innovative and evolving practice.
