Nothing Arrives Unchanged at Kalakriti Art Gallery, Hyderabad
This group show, curated by Satyajit Dave, begins with a simple idea: that artworks are never truly finished, that ‘arrival’ isn’t an endpoint to anything. Featuring works by contemporary Indian artists such as Arunkumar H G, Asim Waqif, Pooja Iranna, Shanthamani Muddaiah, Shweta Mansingka and Tanmay Santra among others, the exhibition showcases art in its constant state of evolution, tracing this phenomenon of ‘incompleteness’ or constant change through a range of diverse media by these master creators. From Iranna’s artworks made with staple pins and Arunkumar H G’s use of waste materials to Waqif’s photos, each creation will make the viewer stop and ponder.
