Saleem Darveshi

Saleem Daveshi (b. 1972, Hyderabad) is a celebrated artist whose practice spans etching, drypoint, and pen-and-ink techniques. A graduate of Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University with a BFA in Painting and an MFA in Printmaking from Sarojini Naidu School of Arts, he also holds a Drawing Master’s certification from Vijaymahantesh Lalit Kala Mahavidyalaya, Karnataka.

Daveshi has participated in prestigious exhibitions, including The Bombay Art Society and India Art Festival, and has been recognized with awards such as the Dara Puraskar and Wadangekar Portrait Award. His works are showcased in galleries across India and internationally and form part of collections in India, France, the USA, Australia, Dubai, and Italy.
