Biography

Dimpy Menon is an acclaimed contemporary sculptor and the first Indian artist to receive the prestigious Lorenzo il Magnifico Award Bronze Award at the Florence Biennale. Renowned for her dynamic bronze sculptures, Menon masterfully captures the grace, strength, and movement of the human form with remarkable sensitivity. Her work has been widely praised by critics and publications, with World Sculpture Magazine describing her as a “Natural” for her ability to portray acrobatic human movement with rare finesse.


Menon has exhibited extensively in India and internationally, and her sculptures form part of significant public, corporate, and hospitality collections worldwide. Her monumental bronze installation at the reopened Oberoi Hotel, Mumbai, following the 26/11 attacks, received widespread acclaim. She has completed major commissions for leading institutions and brands, including The Oberoi, The Leela, Marriott, TVS, General Electric, World Trade Centre Pune, and Bengaluru International Exhibition Centre. Her sculptures continue to inspire audiences through their powerful balance of physicality, elegance, and emotional resonance.
