Ganesh Das

Overview

Born in 1982 in Murshidabad, West Bengal, Ganesh Das is a distinguished artist currently living and working in New Delhi. He holds an M.F.A. in Painting from Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi. Das's work, which reflects profound environmental concerns, has been showcased in numerous prestigious group exhibitions, including those at CIMA Art Fair, Anant Art Gallery (New Delhi), MoMA (Greece), and Gallery Art Centrix Space (New Delhi).

Das has received numerous accolades for his artistic achievements. These include the Gold Medal from Nikhil Bharat Sangeet Samity (Kolkata), a Europe Study Tour Scholarship from CAF (Mumbai), the National Award from CAF (Mumbai), and the Bronze and Gold Medals from the Prafulla Dahanukar Foundation (Mumbai). Additionally, he has been honored with awards from the All India Fine Arts & Crafts Society (New Delhi), the Birla Academy of Art & Culture (Kolkata), and the Sunil Das Award from the Government College of Art & Craft (Kolkata). He has also received a Merit Scholarship from Jamia Millia Islamia (New Delhi).
